Dr. Percelay grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee, where his passion for serving others began. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, graduating Cum Laude from the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Denver.
During his time at the University of Denver, Dr. Percelay served as a campus leader and helped connect students with grassroots organizations in Cambodia to address rural health challenges. Through these experiences, he discovered his passion for medicine and community-focused care.
He went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis before completing his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Missouri. During his residency, he was recognized for his contributions to ophthalmology research with Mason Eye Clinic.
