Marlon Burt, OD
General Optometry
Dr. Burt brings his extensive experience and dedication to eye care to his current role at Coastal Eye Group. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is also a distinguished graduate of Brigham Young University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese.
Before joining Coastal Eye Group, Dr. Burt practiced in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. He provided valuable post-op care for cataract and retina surgery patients. However, his commitment to optometry extends beyond civilian practice. As a Lieutenant Colonel with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, he ensured that airmen met vision standards and provided necessary eyewear for specialized occupations.
At the heart of everything he does is a commitment to practicing primary care optometry in a clinical setting and a desire to be part of a winning team. Dr. Burt continually strives to improve his leadership skills and clinical knowledge, making him an invaluable asset to Coastal Eye Group in both our Myrtle Beach and Little River locations.
